Training on Client Sites

Health and Safety

  • We will comply with all OHS Requirements while on your site.
  • If your policies require that we attend any form of induction prior to entering your premises, please let us know in advance so that we can arrive on time and schedule the training around this requirement.
  • All our Facilitators carry Safety Shoes, Hard Hats, Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, and a Visibility Vest. We ask if your site requires any specialised PPE that you let us know in advance or loan it to our Facilitator for the duration of the training.

Training Schedule

  • We usually start training between 8am and 9am, depending on the location of the site. We schedule in consultation with you.
  • We aim to complete the training by 4pm. Let us know if we need to change this.
  • Our Facilitator will aim to be on site at least 30 minutes before the agreed starting time to set up their equipment, aids, and manuals.

Travel

  • We do not charge for travel to any site within a 50 km radius of our offices.
  • We do charge for the entire distance, if you are located out of this radius, at a rate of R 4.80 Per Km plus the cost of Toll gates where applicable.

Meals and Refreshments

  • We do not expect lunches or any refreshments while we are on your site.
  • If you do not provide lunch for your staff while they are on training, you do not need to make any special arrangements for our Facilitator.

Accommodation

  • For sites where our Facilitator is required to stay overnight, we request that you arrange the accommodation with your preferred providers.
  • We ask that accommodation include Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, wherever possible.
  • We have a strict policy of zero alcohol consumption while travelling for training - let us know immediately if you see any alcohol on the account.
  • We need to consider the safety and fatigue factors when scheduling trips.
